Once again we are upon a new firearms season in our attempt to harvest an elusive Whitetail for the family freezer. If you were successful in finding an Any Deer tag for your district, congratulations! If you were not, all is not lost. In our non-scientific research we have found the number of bucks to be FAR above previous years this year. That is great news, especially if you are limited to an antlered deer this year.

As many of you may know, we are partnered with Alpha Group, LLC and the Maine Wounded Warrior Rehabilitation Association to assist our combat wounded Veterans get back in the field and once again, enjoy shooting and hunting. Last year the first National event "Operation Wounded Heroes Shoot" was well received and gathered National attention in The MAINEiac, the publication of theMaine Air National Guard, Small Arms Review, and recently the primere publication of the National Rifle Association The American Rifleman. The next shoot is already planned for October, 2012.
